We
gather in our classic Georgian sanctuary each Sunday at 10:00 a.m. for
worship. The order for worship reflects the particular traditions of
the parish as well as those of the Christian church.
There
are hymns, scripture readings, readings from non-scriptural sources,
prayers, and a sermon, sometimes delivered from the pulpit, and
sometimes from the midst of the congregation. The sacrament of the
Lord's Supper is observed, simply, on the first Sunday of each month
and all are invited to the table.

At the end of each service there is a
"Quaker Parting," as we turn to shake the hand of the person next to
us, as a sign that worship is over and as a symbol of community.
A
highlight of the service is the "Time With the Young People of the
Parish." Each week the minister sends the "church bag" home with a
different child. The following Sunday, the minister improvises a short
(and usually entertaining) sermon woven around whatever the child has
put in the bag.
